WALK-IN- INTERVIEW

Eligible and interested candidates may attend the Interview for engagement for purely temporary basis as Project Assistant of Different level / JRF on contract basis in the Projects under CSIR Network Scheme and Grant-in-aid Projects sponsored by Govt. Agencies tenable at Central Institute of Medicinal  and Aromatic Plants, Lucknow in various disciplines detailed as under:

Project Assistant-II Total : 01 No. Max. Age Limit 28Years	12,000.00 p.m.(fixed)	Ist Class M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry /Life Science/Botany
Project Assistant-II Or JRF(LS) Total 02 Nos Max. Age Limit 28Years	12,000.00 p.m.(fixed) for PA or 12,000.00 + HRA p.m.(fixed) for JRF(LS)	Ist Class M.Sc. Biotechnology/Biochemistry /Life Science/Botany. Desirable: One year Research experience in techniques used in plant moleculer biology. Note: CSIR-NET/GATE qualified candidates will be treated as JRF in the project.
JRF(LS)/SRF(LS) Total : 01 No. For JRF(LS) Max. Age Limit 28Years Or for SRF(LS) Max. Age Limit 32 Years	12,000.00 + HRA p.m.(fixed) for JRF(LS) 14,000.00 + HRA p.m.(fixed) for SRF(LS)	Ist Class M.Sc. Biotechnology/Biochemistry /Life Science/Botany. Desirable: One year Research experience in techniques used in plant moleculer biology. Note: CSIR-NET/GATE qualified candidates will be treated as JRF in the project. Imp.-For SRF(LS)_in addition to above qualifications two Years of Research experience is essential
Project Assistant –II Or JRF(LS) Total 01 Nos Max. Age Limit 28Years	12,000.00 p.m.(fixed) for PA or 12,000.00 + HRA p.m.(fixed) for JRF(LS)	st Class M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Pharmaceutical Sciences/Biochemistry Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having exposure in the area of nanoscience and nanotechnology. Note: CSIR-NET/GATE qualified candidates will be treated as JRF in the project
Project Assistant –II Or Project Assistant-III Total 01 Nos Max. Age Limit 28Years For PA-II & 30 Years for PA-III	12,000.00 p.m.(fixed) or 14,000.00 p.m.(fixed)	Ist Class M.Sc in Organic chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Note: *For PA-III 2 Years research experience in above field is essential.
Project Assistant –II Total 01 Nos Max. Age Limit 28Years	12,000.00 p.m.(fixed)	Ist MSc. in Biotechnology/Bio Chemistry/Life Sciences Desirable: One Year experience in relevent field i.e. biochemistry  biotechnology/molecular biology

* Higher start may be considered in the case of candidates who have cleared at least CSIR-UGC lecturership (NET) or GATE (Minimum.score-85 percentile) examination.

DATE OF INTERVIEW: 25.6.2012

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Practical experience in the relevant field (as above) as evident by publications/thesis/dissertation.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:  For PA-II/ PA-III ,The upper age limit as mentioned above for all the above positions will be as on Date of Interview which is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes/Persons with disabilities and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Special age relaxation in case of Widows, Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands, who are not remarried as per rules.

 The positions will be co-terminus with the Network/Grant-in-aid projects against which the stipend is offered to the candidate and are non-transferable to another Project.

 In Case of JRF/SRF(Project) ,The upper age limit as mentioned above relaxable upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes/Persons with disabilities/Women/OBC.

If the number of candidates is large, a written test may be conducted to shortlist the candidate for Interview.candidate will be allowed for interview who reach the venue before 09.00AM on the respective date of interview mentioned above table..

Interested candidates may appear before the Committee on the date and time mentioned as above for the respective area/Project in the Conference Room of this Institute for interview alongwith their signed Bio-Data on Prescribed Performa alongwith original and attested copies of marksheets/certificates and a recent passport size photograph. Also giving declaration about close relatives, if any, working in CIMAP/CSIR and option for place of posting at CIMAP Hqrs., Lucknow No TA will be admissible.
