NATIONAL JALMA INSTITUTE FOR LEPROSY AND OTHER MYCOBACTERIAL DISEASES (ICMR),TAJGANJ, AGRA-282 001

National JALMA Institute for Leprosy and Other Mycobacterial Diseases (ICMR),Tajganj, Agra – 282 001 invites application for filling up the adhoc posts of Contractual Microbiologist (01), Research Associate (01), Research Assistant (5)and JRF (02), SRF (01) and Laboratory Attendant (01) in various ongoing extramural projects funded by ICMR/CSIR/DBT/ICAR/CTD-Govt of India. These posts are purely temporary and on a project mode. ELIGIBILITY: The eligibilities for different posts are:

(i) CONSULTANT MICROBIOLOGIST

ESSENTIAL: MD (Medical Microbiology) or an equivalent degree from an Institution, recognized by the Medical Council of India Or Ph.D in Medical Microbiology.

 DESIRABLE: 2-3 years experience in a reputed laboratory.

SALARY: Rs 45000/ fixed

(ii) RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

ESSENTIAL: Master Degree/Doctoral degree in Life Sciences / Microbiology /Biotechnology /  Biochemistry from recognized University.

DESIRABLE: working experience in related areas.

SALARY Master Degree holder Rs 23000/month

Doctoral Degree holders Rs 24000/month

(iii) SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (SRF)

ESSENTIAL: M.Sc in Biotech / Bioinformatics / Chemistry / Medicinal chemistry/pharmacoinformatics /chemo informatics.

OR M S/M.Tech in Pharma/Bioinformatics

DESIRABLE: 2 Year Experience in Drug Designing or Bioinformatics related work.

SALARY: Rs 18000 + HRA as per rules

(iv) JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)

ESSENTIAL: M.Sc/B.Tech in Biotech / Bioinformatics / Chemistry / Medicinal chemistry/pharmacoinformatics /chemo informatics, 1 year of research experience in project related to infectious disease.

OR MS/M.Tech in Pharma/Bioinformatics. Only ICMR/CSIR/ICAR/DBT/UGC-NET/GATE qualified candidates may apply.

DESIRABLE: 1 Year Experience in Drug Designing or Bioinformatics related work.

SALARY :Rs 16000/ month + HRA as per rules

(v) RESEARCH ASSISTANT- ESSENTIAL: M.Sc degree in Life Sciences / Microbiology /Biotechnology / Biochemistry from recognized University.

DESIRABLE: working experience in Mycobacterial Research

SALARY Rs 22120/month fixed

(vi) LABORATORY ATTENDANT - ESSENTIAL: High School (10th) from recognized board. Desirable: working experience in laboratory .

SALARY: Rs 11581/ month fixed

RESERVATION: As per Govt. Of India rules.

PLACE OF WORK: Institute/ MRHRU Ghatampur or other areas as per project requirement.

TENURE: 6 months and Maximum till duration of project.
