NOTICE
A walk-in interview will be
conducted for the following positions in the Research project entitled, “Preventing extinction and improving
conservation status of threatened plants through application of
biotechnological tools” sponsored by Department of Biotechnology, Government
of India, New Delhi on 14th May 2012 at 11.30am in the Dept. of Ecology & Envtl.
Science.

POST NO. 1
JUNIOR RESEARCH
FELLOW (JRF) (1 POSITION)
PAY SCALE: (Rs. 16000+ 10% HRA for
1st& 2nd years; Rs. 18000+ 10% HRA for 3rd, 4th& 5th Years)
DURATION: 5 years (the appointment is
co-terminus with the project)
ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. M.Sc in Ecology
&Environmental Science /Botany/Life Science/ Forestry with 55% marks.
2. NET (JRF)
(Non-NET (JRF) candidates may be
appointed @Rs. 12,000/- + 10% HRA p.m.)
3. DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATIONS:
Working knowledge of operating Remote Sensing and GIS
softwares preferred
NOTE: Those who have appeared for
M.Sc. 4th semester examination may also apply.
However is selected their
appointment will be considered only after they qualify M.Sc. with
the required percentage of marks.
POST NO.2
FIELD ASSISTANT (1
POSITION)
PAY SCALE: Rs. 5000 PM (Fixed)
DURATION: 5 years (the appointment is
co-terminus with the project)
ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATION: High
School
DESIRABLE: Experience in field work/upkeep
of greenhouse/laboratory work
