Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna, a permanent Institute under Indian Council of Medical Research, Dept. Of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. Of India, invites applications from suitable Indian Nationals for appointment on the following Purely temporary posts (on contractual basis) under establishment of ICMR Virology lab at RMRI, Patna.

DURATION OF CONTRACT: The appointment will be made on consolidated pay initially for a period of 12 months, likely to be Extended on the basis of their performance for next year till end of the study period.

. Job requirement
Essential Qualification: (i) MBBS, Degree recognized by MCI.
(ii) Three year research experience in the relevant areas.
 (2) Desirable: M.D. in Virology/Microbiology/Pathology Publication in high impact factor journal, knowledge of computer applications, with strong desire to work in field of virology with knowledge of biosafety.
(3) Age: The candidate should below 40 years (Relaxable to SC/ST/OBC candidate as per rule) .
To in establish virus diagnostic test protocols for human
pathogenic viruses. To help in outbreak invigilation’s.
(1) Essential Qualification: MBBS, Degree recognized by MCI.
(2) Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Microbiology/Virology, computer
applications, with strong desire to work in field of virology with knowledge of bio safety.
(3) Age: The candidate should below 35 years (Relaxable to SC/ST/OBC
candidate as per rule) .

To help in establishing virus
diagnostic tests for human pathogenic viruses. To help in
outbreak  invigilation.
1) Essential Qualification: (i) M. Sc. in Microbiology/ Biotechnology /
Biological Sciences.
(ii) Two years research experience.
(2) Desirable: Experience in diagnostic Laboratory in conducting ELISA, PCR,RT PCR etc. and knowledge of computers and bio safety.
(3) Age: The candidate should below 35 years (Relaxable to SC/ST/OBC candidate as per rule) .
To help in establishing virus
diagnostic tests for human
pathogenic viruses. To look in to
Laboratory requirements etc.

(1) Essential Qualification: 10+2 or B.Sc. Biology.
(2) Desirable: DMLT with 2 years experience of M.Sc. Biology with research/teaching experience Minimum knowledge of Type/ Computer
applications.
(3) Age: The candidate should below 28 years (Relaxable to SC/ST/OBC
candidate as per rule) .
Routine Laboratory activities.
To maintain the data in computers.

(2)Desirable: Cleaning &washing experience in laboratory.
(3)Age: The candidate should below 28 years (Relaxable to SC/ST/OBC candidate as per rule) .

Washing cleaning and
housekeeping in laboratory and to
assist in field work.
