Applications are invited for the
temporary post of PROJECT ASSOCIATE for the BRNS project on “DEVELOPMENT
OF ANTIFOULING COATINGS BASED ON SURFACE MODIFICATION APPROACH” in
the Department of BIOTECHNOLOGY.
DURATION: Initially for a period of one
year and likely to be extendable further.

QUALIFICATION:
POST 1. M.Sc or M.tech in Biochemistry,
Biotechnology, Microbiology, Marine biology or
any allied sciences with 60%
average or 6.0 CGPA
POST 2. M.Sc or B.E / B.Tech in organic
or Polymer Chemistry with 60% average or 6.0 CGPA
DESIRABLE: Post 1. Candidates with
laboratory experience in biofilms and their characterization.
POST 2. Candidates with polymer
synthesis or characterization or coatings.
FELLOWSHIP: Rs. 13,000 - Rs. 30,000/-
.Salary will be fixed based on the experience.
Other things being equal, preference
will be given to SC/ST candidates.
The Co-ordinator has the
discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a
reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the
minimum prescribed in the announcement.
