walk in interview will be held on 27.03.2012 at 11.30 a.m. in the room of the
Head, Department of Botany, University of Calcutta, 35 Ballygunge Circular
Road, Kolkata – 700019 for appointment of a Laboratory Assistant in an ICMR
sponsored major project entitled “The hunt for wild mushrooms of ethnic medicine
systems used by different tribal population in West Bengal : Search the new
source of antileishmanial agents with specific challenge against drug-resistant
strain” sanctioned by Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi
under supervision of Dr. Krishnendu Acharya of Department of Botany, University
of Calcutta.
QUALIFICATION: M.Sc. in any branches of Life
Sciences.
FELLOWSHIP: Rs.9480/- per month (fixed)
TENURE: 3 years. The post is purely
temporary and co-terminus with the project.
