WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

A walk-in-interview will be held at CENTRAL INSTITUTE FOR SUBTROPICAL HORTICULTURE, at Rae Bareli Road, Telibagh, Lucknow an Institute under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), for selection of Senior Research Fellow, Research Associate, Data entry operator, Scouts and Computer operator as per details given below: -

Horticulture and Agril. NAIP Project-“Holistic approach for improving livelihood security through livestock based farming system in Barabanki and Raebareli districts of U.P. (Project Duration: Up to June, 2012 or up to end of project ) Date of Interview : 12.03.2012 Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards	Research Associate (One)	Rs. 23000/- per month + HRA	Essential:M.Sc(Ag.) in Horticulture with Ist division or 60%marks or equivalent over all grade point average with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from fellowship/Associateship/training/other engagement. Desirable :Working experience on fruit crops with special reference to subtropical fruits. Published research paper will be desirable.
NICRA Project entitled - “Understanding the changes in host pest interactions and dynamics in mango under climate change scenario” (Project Duration: Up to March, 2012 or up to end of project ) Date of Interview : 12.03.2012 Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards	Senior Research Fellow (One)	Rs. 16000/-per month + HRA	Essential: M.Sc.(Ag.) in Entomology/Plant Pathology or M.Sc. in Botany (specialization in Plant Pathology) or Zoology (specialization in Entomology) Desirable : Working knowledge of computer.

NICRA Project entitled - “Understanding the changes in hostpest interactions and dynamics in mango under climate change scenario” (Project Duration: Up to March, 2012 or up to end of project ) Date of Interview : 12.03.2012 Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards	Scouts (Two)	Rs. 8000/- per month (Fixed)	Essential : Agriculture Graduate from a recognized University. Desirable :Working experience in field.
“Hi-tech Horticulture for Efficient Utilization of Resources through Precision Farming” under Precision Farming Development Centre (PFDC) (Project Duration: Up to March, 2012 and likely to be extended ) Date of Interview : 12.03.2012 Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards	Computer Operator (One)	Rs. 10,000/- per month (fixed)	Essential: Graduation in any discipline with diploma in computer application Desirable: Experience in day to day financial management of research project. Experience in preparation of project reports, publication and presentation etc.

AGE LIMIT:

For Research Associate: 40 years for male and 45 years for female candidates.

For Senior Research Fellow: 35 years for male and 40 years for female candidates.

For Computer Operator/Data Entry Operator: 35 years for male and 40 years for female candidates.

For Scots: 35 years

For Skilled Assistant: 18-27 years

Note: Age will be calculated as on the date of interview. Relaxation of age admissible for SC/ST/ OBC candidates as per Govt. of India/ICAR rules.

1. Candidates should bring his/her bio-data original certificates supporting educational qualifications and experience. Photocopies of certificates, a latest passport size photograph at the time of interview.

2. The above-mentioned position are purely on contract basis and co-terminus with the project. The person recruited will not have any claims for absorption in any capacity after the termination of the project. No T.A./D.A. will be paid to candidate for attending the interview.

3. MODE OF SELECTION:

i. RA/SRF- Academic Qualification- 50 marks, Experience & Publications – 20 marks, NET/Ph.D clearance as supported by valid certificate – 20 marks and Interview -10 marks.

ii. Computer/Data Entry Operator - Academic Qualification and Computer course- 70 marks, Experience – 20 marks and Interview -10 marks.

iii. Scout – Academic Qualification- 70 marks, Experience – 20 marks and Interview -10 marks.

4. Canvassing in any from will disqualify the candidature.

5. The Director’s decision will be final and binding in all respects.
