B.Sc. Microbiology
DESIRABLE: Experience in isolation of
actinomycetes, bacteria and fungi from marine environment and use of rotavaps,
lyophiliser, sonicators, UV-VIS spectrophotometer
JOB REQUIREMENT: The selected candidate will be
required to assist the project leader in the collection of marine organisms,
isolation of associated microorganisms, antimicrobial bioassays, mass culture
of microorganisms, extraction of marine macro and micro organisms. Should be
familiar with use of instruments such as laminar flow, autoclave, centrifuge,
lyophiliser, UV-VIS spectrophotometer, etc. Candidate should be able to work
independently.
