The following vacant post is needed on purely temporary basis under the project entitled “Gastrointestinal Tract Pathogens Repository“ under Dr. B.L. Sarkar, Scientist ‘E’ of this Institute.
NAME OF THE POST: Research Scientist

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES: Essential : First Class Master’s Degree in Life/Biological Sciences or relevant biological subjects from a recognized University or equivalent. Experience on microbiological studies on the identification/confirmation of enteric pathogens and also molecular characterization of these pathogens causing diarrheal diseases as evidenced by publications.
Desirable : Ph.D. with experience in supervising Junior Researchers.
CONSOLIDATED SALARY: Rs. 34,650/- p.m. (fixed)
AGE: Below 35 years
N.B. Age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates as per Govt. of India Rules.
