PROJECT TITLE: “Studies on Characterization of content and composition of the aromatic oil and microstructure of the seed spices grown in different districts of West Bengal”
FUNDING AGENCY: Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of West Bengal, vide sanction letter No.416 (Sanc.)/ST/P/S&T/2G-5/2011
DURATION: 2 years, extendable for another year
PRINCIPLAL INVESTIGATOR: Dr. (Ms.) Mahua Ghosh, Department of Chemical Technology, University of Calcutta.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: B.Tech. in Oil Technology / M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry / Botany/ Environmental Sc. / Atmospheric science or equivalent degree.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: For M.Sc. students, NET/SET/GATE score or research experience in the field of Oil technology with sufficient knowledge in GC, GC-MS, SEM, AFM, etc.
UPPER AGE LIMIT: 30 years
EMOLUMENT: RS.12,000/- p.m. + admissible allowances.
