Applications are invited from the Ph.D students of School of of Agricultural Biotechnology, PAU, Ludhiana on the prescribed form available in the office of undersigned on payment of Rs.200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. alongwith attested copies of certificates for the one position of Junior Research Fellow.
POST: Junior Research Fellow(Ph.D Studentship)
NO. OF POSITIONS: One
PROJECT TITLE: “Genomics for improvement of fungal disease resistance and terminal heat tolerance in heat- CSS-9 (PC-6013)”
DURATION: six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.
FELLOWSHIP: Rs. 12,000/- p.m. fixed
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
1. B.Sc./B.Sc.(Agri.)/ with minimum OCPA of 2.00/4.00 basis or 50% marks.
2. M.Sc.Genetics(Crop Plants)/Plant Breeding/ M.Sc. Plant Breeding Genetics/Biotechnology with minimum OCPA of 3.40/4.00 or 65% marks.
The last date for the receipt of applications (duly completed in all respects) in this office is 14/10/2011. Incomplete applications or unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidate should appear for interview on 24/10/2011 at 11.30 a.m. in the office of the undersigned. No separate information for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
