Scholarships of the University of Münster for Doctoral Students in their Last Year of PhD Research
The University of Münster allocates scholarships and travel grants to promote outstanding young researchers in their last year of PhD research. The number of scholarships and travel grants depends on the funds available for the promotion of doctoral research as determined by the university's budget plan. If the candidates fulfill the requirements according to the guidelines of July 28, 2011 (not yet in English), scholarships may be granted for a maximum of the final twelve months of their doctoral research. In order to be eligible for funding, candidates need to be enrolled as a doctoral student at the University of Münster. Their supervisor needs to be a professor or a reader who has qualified as professor (Privatdozent) at the University of Münster. Candidate must have started their doctoral studies and they need to demonstrate that they will be able to finish their studies with outstanding results within the duration of their scholarship.
The scholarship grant amounts to € 1.000 per month.
