PROJECT TITLE: “Role of Thyroid Hormone in Neuroprotection : An Experimental Study in Adult Rat Cerebral Cortex”
FUNDING AGENCY: CSIR
PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR: Prof. Arun Kumar Ray, CSIR Emeritus Scientist, Division of Molecular Medicine.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: Ph. D. degree in Life Sciences for RA position. Candidates who have submitted their Ph. D. thesis may also apply for Extended SRF position.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION : Experience in techniques of immunoblotting, flow-cytometry, cell signaling, etc., along with knowledge in proper handling of animals with care.
ASSOCIATESHIP / FELLOWSHIP : Rs. 22,000/- p.m. for RA / Rs. 20,000/- p.m. for Extended SRF, plus admissible HRA and Medical benefit.
AGE : Below 35 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
DURATION: upto 31st August 2012
