WALK-IN-PERSONAL DISCUSSION
The following posts are to be filled up on purely temporary basis at ICMR Hqrs. Office, New
Delhi in a research project entitled “National Registry of ART Clinics in India” funded by
the Indian Council of Medical Research under Division of Reproductive Health & Nutrition,
ICMR, New Delhi.
Name of Post : Research Scientist-I (Medical) - One
Age : up to 35 years
Salary : Rs. 28,350 + 25% NPA + 30 % HRA pm
Essential Qualifications : 1. MBBS degree in required discipline recognized by MCI with 2 years experience in Obst. & Gyne. or in related field.
Desirable Qualifications : 1. Doctorate in related science or MD in the related subject from a recognized university.
2. Additional post doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subject in recognized institute(s).
3. Knowledge of computer applications or business intelligence tools/data management.
Nature of Duties : Assisting the chief co-ordinator in co-ordinating and monitoring various activities of the National Registry of ART.
Name of Post : Research Scientist-I (Non-medical) - One
Age : up to 35 years
Salary : Rs. 28,350 + 30 % HRA pm
Essential Qualifications : 1st class Master’s degree (Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Zoology,Biochemistry) with two years research experience.
Desirable Qualifications : 1. Doctorate in related subject from a recognized university.
2. Additional post doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subject in recognized institute(s).
3. Knowledge of computer applications or business intelligence tools/data management.
Nature of Duties : Assisting the chief co-ordinator in co-ordinating and monitoring various activities of the National Registry of ART.
Name of Post : Scientist-I (One-statistics/programmer) - One
Age : up to 35 years
Salary : Rs. 28,350 + 30 % HRA pm
Essential Qualifications : 1st class Master’s degree (Bio-statistics, Statistics, Mathematical
Statistics) with two years research experience.
Desirable Qualifications : 1. Doctorate in related subject from a recognized university.
2. Additional post doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subject in recognized institute(s).
3. Working knowledge of statistical packages, SPSS, SAS, STRATA, ATLASti, Qualrus etc.
4. Working knowledge of data management, data analysis using various type of data entry packages (online/offline) including computerization of proformas.
5. Knowledge of computer applications or business intelligence tools.
Nature of Duties : Assisting the chief co-ordinator in co-ordinating and monitoring
various activities of the National Registry of ART.
The posts are to be filled up on purely temporary basis. The appointment is terminable with one
month notice from either side without assigning any reason. Since the project is purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under ICMR or
continuation of their services in any other project. No benefit of Provident Fund, HRA, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. will be considered, since the posts are on purely
temporary basis. Age relaxation is for SC, ST and OBC candidates as per Govt. Rules. No TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the walk-in-personal discussion/test.

for a walk-in-personal discussion at ICMR Hqrs. Office, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi – 110 029 on 20/08/11 (at 10.00 am) for Scientist-I (all three posts), on 21/08/11 (at 10.00 am) for Assistant, DEO and Attendant.
Those appearing for walk-in-personal discussions should bring with them (1) All certificates/testimonials in original, (2) One attested copy of each of the certificates, (3) Seven
copies of brief Curriculum-Vitae as per the Application Format.
