The National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi, would like to recruit one Scientist for its Project titled “Centre for Molecular Medicine” (CentMM).

QUALIFICATIONS & PAY STRUCTURE:

Staff Scientist II – Pay Structure – Rs. 15600 – 39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400

QUALIFICATION - Ph.D in Organic Chemistry / Bio – Organic Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry with one year post doctoral experience in the relevant field.

Staff Scientist III – Pay Structure – Rs. 15600 – 39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600

QUALIFICATION - Ph.D in Organic Chemistry / Bio – Organic Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry with four years post doctoral experience in the relevant field.

DESIRABLE: Experience of working on Synthetic Chemistry related to natural products and / or ability to de-novo synthesise anti-cancer molecules.

TENURE: till Sept. 2015

UPPER AGE LIMT – Scienitst II – 35 years; Scientist III – 40 years

JOB DESCRIPTION: Synthesis of anti-cancer compounds or modification of existing anti-cancer agents/bioactive compounds for improving efficacy, using bioconjugation.
